Position Overview

Accountability Lab Pakistan is seeking a technically strong Visual Media Associate with hands-on experience in production and post-production, equipment management, editing workflows, and structured digital archiving. The primary responsibility of this role is to produce and manage high-quality audio-visual content for program documentation, storytelling, and visibility across offline and online platforms. The role will also support supplementary communication tasks such as graphic design, caption writing, and podcast production.

Core Responsibilities

Audio-Visual Recording & Production

• Lead video and audio recording during events, trainings, interviews, field visits, and podcasts.
• Operate cameras, lighting, audio recorders, microphones, and related AV equipment.
• Set up recording environments (indoor/outdoor) with proper lighting, sound, and framing.
• Capture structured footage including b-roll, testimonials, vox pops, and documentation clips.

Equipment & Studio Management

• Maintain and manage all AV equipment (cameras, lenses, mics, recorders, lighting, tripods, drones, etc.).
• Keep equipment logs, checklists, and usage records.
• Ensure timely charging, storage, labelling, and safe transport of gear.
• Identify and report maintenance needs; coordinate maintenance when required.

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit long-form and short-form videos, reels, teasers, training clips, and event recaps.
• Conduct colour correction, audio cleanup, subtitles, motion graphics, and final exporting.
• Maintain structured Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar) project folders and timelines.
• Produce high-quality deliverables aligned with donor branding and organizational identity.

Digital Archiving & Data Management

• Organize, label, and store AV files systematically across shared drives and backups.
• Maintain photo/audio/video libraries with proper metadata and tagging.
• Ensure secure backup procedures are followed for all raw and edited content.
• Manage media trackers, archives, and retrieval systems for easy access by the team.

Secondary Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Visual Communication

• Provide support to the communication team in creating visual assets, templates, thumbnails, event posters, and simple design collateral.
• Provide support in developing social media visuals and program visibility materials.

Social Media Content Support

• Assist in caption writing, scheduling posts, and refining digital copy.
• Maintain structured database of digital assets and provide photo and video content to the Communications team for campaigns and other pojects’ requirements.

Program Documentation

• Support program teams with photo and video documentation of field activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

• Demonstrated experience in professional video recording and camera operation.
• Strong proficiency in video editing using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of lighting setups, audio equipment, and AV accessories.
• Proficiency in colour grading and sound mixing skillset.
• Experience in digital archiving, file organization, and structured media asset

Additional Skills

• Proven experience in graphic design using Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and digital communication communication strategies.
• Strong photography skills including composing, framing and lighting techniques.
• Experience in producing reels and short-form vertical content for digital platforms.

Duration & Level of Effort

Full-time position based in Islamabad with regular travel for field recording and program coverage.

Salary Bracket

75,000 PKR – 85,000 PKR (per month)
