Integrity Icon Pakistan (IIP)

Integrity Icon Pakistan is a national movement, both on the ground and online, to celebrate and encourage honest government officials across the country. The purpose is to move away from “naming and shaming” corrupt public officials towards “naming and faming” those public servants who work with integrity.

By creating a positive conversation about values-driven governance and supporting people who do the right thing, we can encourage a collective shift in mindsets in Pakistan. The goals of Integrity Icon are threefold: first, to create role models and celebrate honest public officials; second, to inspire young people by showing them that government is a career path in which one can work with integrity and honesty; and third, to connect and support the winners to help build coalitions to push for further reform and value-based decision-making over time. Over the past seven years, Integrity Icon has been able to highlight 35 honest government officials across Pakistan. Integrity Icon is a global campaign carried out in 15 countries across the world.
