Implemented by Accountability Lab Pakistan in strategic partnership with UN Women, this initiative aimed to advance equitable representation of women across Pakistan’s justice institutions, including the judiciary, law enforcement, and the legal profession. Through targeted interventions in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, the project identified and trained 25 emerging women and men leaders in digital advocacy, legal literacy, and storytelling for change.

To challenge systemic gender barriers and reframe public narratives, the project deployed a dynamic blend of Virtual Media Caravans (VMCs), high-impact mentorship, and strategic media outreach. A key highlight was a powerful podcast series produced in collaboration with The Centrum Media (TCM), featuring inspiring conversations with Justice (R) Mahrukh Aziz, Legal Advisor at the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat; Justice Riffat Inam Butt, Secretary of the Law and Justice Commission of Pakistan; Beenish Fatima, Chief Technology Officer of Rawalpindi; and SSP Shehla Qureshi, AIG Gender Crimes in Karachi.

By amplifying these voices and equipping youth as digital advocates, the project catalyzed a growing movement for inclusive, gender-responsive governance—laying the groundwork for long-term reform through civic participation, public dialogue, and policy advocacy.
