Position Overview

Accountability Lab Pakistan is looking for a technically strong and creative Visual Media Associate to support our audio-visual production, post-production, digital archiving and visual communication work. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in professional video recording, camera operation, lighting and sound setups, video editing and digital asset management. The role will contribute to documenting our programs, capturing stories from the field and producing high-quality visual content for online and offline platforms.

Core Responsibilities

Audio-Visual Recording & Production

• Video recording during events, trainings, interviews, field visits, and podcasts.
• Operate cameras, lighting, audio recorders, microphones, and related AV equipment.
• Set up recording environments (indoor/outdoor) with proper lighting, sound, and framing.
• Capture structured footage including b-roll, testimonials, vox pops, and documentation clips.

Equipment & Studio Management

• Maintain and manage all AV equipment (cameras, lenses, mics, recorders, lighting, tripods etc.).
• Keep equipment logs, checklists, and usage records.
• Ensure timely charging, storage, labelling, and safe transport of gear.
• Identify and report maintenance needs; coordinate maintenance when required.

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit long-form and short-form videos, reels, teasers, training clips, and event recaps.
• Conduct colour correction, audio cleanup, subtitles, motion graphics, and final products.
• Maintain structured project folders and timelines.
• Produce high-quality deliverables aligned with donor branding and organizational identity.

Digital Archiving & Data Management

• Organize, label, and store AV files systematically across shared drives and backups.
• Maintain photo/audio/video libraries with proper metadata and tagging.
• Ensure secure backup procedures are followed for all raw and edited content.
• Manage media trackers, archives, and retrieval systems for easy access by the team.

Visual Communication

• Provide support to the communication team in creating visual assets, templates, thumbnails, event posters, and simple design collateral.
• Maintain structured database of digital assets and provide photo and video content to the Communications team for campaigns and other pojects’ requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

• Demonstrated experience in professional video recording and camera operation.
• Strong proficiency in video editing using Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of lighting setups, audio equipment, and AV accessories.
• Proficiency in colour grading and sound mixing skillset.
• Experience in digital archiving, file organization, and structured media asset

Additional Skills

• Proven experience in graphic design using Canva or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
• Strong photography skills including composing, framing and lighting.
• Experience in producing short-form vertical content for digital platforms.

Position Details

• Remuneration: PKR 75,000–85,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
