Position Summary

Accountability Lab Pakistan is seeking a creative, technically skilled and proactive Visual Media Associate to support the organization’s digital communications, website management, multimedia production and content development needs. The position will primarily support WordPress website development and maintenance, while also contributing to video editing, podcast recording and production, digital storytelling and overall visual communications. This role requires both technical capability and creative judgment, with strong attention to detail, timely execution and a collaborative working style.

Major Responsibilities

The role includes managing and updating the WordPress website, producing and editing digital content including podcast and video editing, designing social media campaign materials, supporting event coverage and organizing media archives and production workflows.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in video recording and editing, podcast production and digital design.
• Demonstrated experience in WordPress website management is essential.
• Prior experience in the development sector, nonprofit communications or advocacy-oriented work will be an advantage.

Technical Skills

The candidate should have knowledge of:

• WordPress content management and basic website administration.
• Basic knowledge of video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva.
• Audio recording and editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition or similar.
• Social media content formatting and digital publishing.
• Basic SEO, image optimization and website best practices.
• File management, cloud storage and digital archiving.

Reporting and Supervision

The Visual Media Associate will report directly to the Programs and Communications Manager and work in close coordination with program staff, communications staff and other internal stakeholders as assigned.

Duration of Contract

One year renewable based on performance.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary in the range of PKR 75,000 to 90,000, depending on the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, technical expertise and portfolio.
