Fail Faires
Accountability Lab recognizes failure as an essential part of the learning journey. It goes about neutralizing the concept that failure is something to be hidden or ignored; and not to be talked about. And helps build a focus towards failure being inevitable and a critical learning process. “Fail Faire” are events designed to change the culture around failure in Pakistan- by allowing people to speak honestly and openly about their failures and to see failure as a mark of leadership, innovation and learning.
The goal of these events is to motivate the audience to share their failures and strategies to overcome them. Through these events, a community of positive thinkers is created, who see openness and honesty as their strengths. In the event speakers share their failed stories along with their learnings derived from them this creates a discussion around accepting failure and the focus is kept on learning strategies adopted to overcome them. Sharing fail stories counter the stigma around failure and helps relieve some of the anxiety related to it.
