Accountability Incubator
The Accountability Incubator is a year-long flagship training program designed for young change-makers who seek to build sustainable and effective tools for change. The program offers a supportive environment for creative and enterprising individuals with innovative ideas to inspire accountability in their communities. Through the Incubator, “accountapreneurs” (accountability entrepreneurs) receive relevant trainings, quarterly meet-ups, online learning modules, hands-on mentorship for idea development, communication support including video production and blog publication, and networking opportunities through pitch events and “friend raisers.”
Since 2016, we have incubated 56 accountapreneurs in Pakistan who are working on various ideas such as Integrity Theatre, Accountability Citizen Journalism, Disability Simulating Board Games, Health Platforms, Data for All, Empower Girls, Transgender Rights, and a publishing sector platform for transparency.

Ayesha Noor
Ayesha Noor is a feminist activist and humanitarian currently working at the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Government of Pakistan. She is undertaking policy research and development of initiatives to tackle gender inequality and food insecurity in Pakistan. She took the lead in launching a national campaign, #StopGBVPK across the universities of Pakistan to raise awareness of pro-women laws in collaboration with National Commission on the Status of Women (NCSW) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). She also developed a citizen’s guide to counter GBV under the Planning Commission’s umbrella which has been disseminated nationwide. She is currently working on her initiative ‘Ugao’ that focuses on equipping underprivileged children with the skill of growing their own vegetables at home by establishing food gardens at underprivileged schools where elementary school children would be actively trained and participate in food gardening activities as part of their experiential learning curriculum. This particular initiative would educate children on food literacy, nutrition and nurture their mindsets as future changemakers tackling the food insecurity crisis by making kitchen and food gardening a household practice.
Aftab Roonjha
Aftab Roonjha has been working with the Welfare Association for New Generation (WANG), a Lasbela-based non-profit organization focused on empowering young people through various social action projects in local communities. Aftab has developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by these communities and has worked tirelessly to help address them.
In addition to his work with WANG, Aftab has recently co-founded WANG LAB OF INNOVATION (WALI), the first-ever rural innovation lab in Lasbela Balochistan. Through WALI, Aftab is committed to bridging the gap between technology and rural communities, and connecting the unconnected through a number of his programs at WALI. He believes that by providing access to new technologies and ideas, he can help empower individuals and communities to achieve their full potential.
Overall, Aftab Roonjha is a highly dedicated and driven individual who is deeply committed to improving the lives of those around him. Whether through his work with WANG or WALI, he is constantly seeking new ways to make a positive impact in his community.
Fatima Yaseen
Fatima Yaseen is a young Sociologist who completed her bachelor’s degree from Lahore College for Women University, Lahore, with an excellent academic record. She was also inscribed in the Academic Role of Honor Lahore College for Women University and had been the secretary of the Sociological Society at LCWU.
Participating in different social activities like consultations, seminars, webinars, training sessions, etc. has built confidence, knowledge, professional behavior, leadership, and creativity in her. She was certified as a Youth Ambassador, Agent of social change, Volunteer Youth ambassador to Report incidences of Violence against Women, and Enumerator in Research on Climate Change.
She is passionate about serving her country in the best way she can. She is self-motivated, extroverted, patient, humble, and has a flexible leadership style with excellent problem-solving techniques. She worked as an Intern support Officer at Punjab Women’s Protection Authority and Working as a Program Associate at the Institute of Social and Youth development. She was associated with ITA and IFSD.
Fatima as an Accountaprenour will revolve her idea around environmental Accountability by using the 3R principle (recycle, reuse, and reduce). She will raise awareness about Recycling and reusing used materials and reduce the waste of resources. Different recycling projects and workshops at different schools and universities will be conducted by her. Moreover, she will plan campaigns for garbage picking initially from public parks and garbage cans or bins with separate labeling of glass, plastic, paper, etc. can be installed so that people can throw garbage accordingly. A clean and fresh environment is a necessity of life and Fatima will try her best to make sure the land around us is not polluted and the resources are recycled, reused and waste is reduced.
Hafiz Talha
Hafiz Talha is a young activist from Lahore, Pakistan. He started social activism – voluntarily when he was in school. Talha passed his graduation from the University of Punjab Gender Studies. He is passionate about conducting theater performances and interactive sessions to train youth on Human Rights, Peace, HIV/AIDS prevention, Family Planning, Gender Equality, and their SRH rights. He had worked with ITA (Idara Taleem o Agahe) on a project ‘LSK’ where he gave training to kids regarding LSBE (Life Skill Based Education). Recently, he has been a part of the Institute for Social and Youth Development – (ISYD) as a core team member. Moreover, he has been a part of YPEER Pakistan as Communication Associate. Talha is responsible for projects based on capacity-building, health awareness, policy and advocacy, youth empowerment, sustainable development, and creating spaces for meaningful youth engagement. Moreover, he has been a part of the LIVE NOW Campaign in Pakistan – a platform to create opportunities and to engage young people in productive activities in the pandemic to ensure the well-being of adolescents and young people and has been conducting training with differently able communities. Talha has recently started off with his own initiative i.e., Artivism Academy as a Co-Founder, where Artivism aims to nurture and polish the artistic skills of young people by making the arts accessible, inclusive and meaningful through diverse approaches to creative innovation, integrated with visual, oral and written communication. Furthermore, currently, he is working with an NGO named AGHAHE as a Training Officer.
Naina Samson
Naina Samson is working as a Program Manager at Kahani Sunao storytelling School and is also a development Practitioner. Their business model is to bring peace through storytelling and to maintain peace and harmony in online and offline spaces. The main area of focus will be Climate injustice, Human rights, Social Cohesion, and Inclusion. So, it will be a social start-up named Kahani Sunao Storytelling School. This will help new journalists, bloggers, social/peace activists, and Human rights defenders to gain a professional degree. Their business model will be affordable fees for consultancy and paid preparation programs, for both rural and urban populations. This is going to be the first storytelling school in Pakistan that will equip people with amazing skills in Digital Marketing, Pre, and Post-production that will definitely support and empower people to generate their own revenue in a short span of time.
Tahreem Jatoi
Tahreem Jatoi is a young published Novelist and climate activist. She has recently graduated from the Institute of English language and literature, UoS. She is currently working in a specialist team at Youth Empowerment in Climate Action Platform by UNDP Asia-Pacific and UNFCCC. Also, she has completed her climate advocacy fellowship from FXB International. Before this, she did her climate project and Fellowship under PCG, British Council. Additionally, she would be working for a non-profit project “Ecopitch” on environmental advocacy to maximize youth inclusion and accountability, regionally. “Ecopitch” would focus on mentor training, climate-related idea pitching, and collective climate action of youth. It will work as a platform for youth to get themselves a guide to work for local communities with local solutions. Also, she’s working to promote Green Literature through her writings. Apart from climate activism, she has done several projects to promote peace under UNDP and US Embassy.
Ibrahim Afridi
Ibrahim Afridi is a Young Development Fellow and an entrepreneur at heart. He’s a problem solver who loves to think creatively and find innovative solutions to challenging issues. He’s also a govpreneur and technopreneur, always looking for ways to use technology to improve governance and drive social impact.
Ibrahim is currently working on a project that is using blockchain accounting technology, also known as triple-entry accounting, to combat corruption in Pakistan. Through the use of blockchain, we are able to make money easily available and traceable by the public, ensuring that funds are being used appropriately. We have also put the government’s welfare scheme on a public blockchain, allowing for greater accountability and transparency.
He believes that triple-entry accounting with blockchain has the potential to disrupt the accounting industry and create greater trust and transparency in the financial system. He is passionate about using technology to drive positive change and make a difference in the world.
Shazadi Faiza
Shazadi Faiza, an innovative tech-entrepreneur with a passion for digital marketing. She has a dream of empowering women with the power of digital marketing. Her empathy towards women who want to learn digital marketing from home and work from home led her to found Digital Girls, an organization dedicated to providing women with the necessary skills and tools to succeed in the digital marketing industry. She has completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology and Information Technology (BBIT) from a renowned institution and is holding a diploma in Digital Marketing, SEO, and Entrepreneurship from the prestigious Institute of Business Administration (IBA). Her academic achievements have helped her gain a strong foundation in the field of digital marketing. Under Shazadi Faiza’s leadership, Digital Girls has successfully increased financial inclusion among women and their household income. Shazadi Faiza’s vision is that Pakistan will become the #1 in women freelancers and through freelancing Pakistan’s IT Exports and GDP should increase. She truly inspires many women who want to achieve their dreams and create a better life for themselves and their families. Shazadi Faiza’s journey as an entrepreneur began when her innovative idea got selected for Sindh Research Incubation Center (SRIC), which gave her the confidence to pursue her dream. Later, she also got selected in the IBA-Oxfam Entrepreneurship Competition, and Digital Girls got incubated in NIC Islamabad and IBA-CED Incubation Center in Karachi. Shazadi Faiza has attended numerous training programs that have helped her hone her entrepreneurial skills. She was a part of the ‘Entrepreneur Growth & Fundraising Readiness Trainings’ organized by Invest2Innovate, Village Capital, and World Bank Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi) program in Pakistan. She also completed the International Certificate in Entrepreneurship (ICE) by Accelerate Prosperity and E4Impact Foundation from Altis School of Business, Universita Cattolica, Milan (Italy). She is an alumni of Greater Good Accelerator, Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship, Global Social Benefit Institute (GSBI®), Academy of Women Entrepreneurs, CaterpillHERs, Pak-US Alumni Network, Azme Noujawan, Princess Foundation, The Change Makers, The School of Writing, and Youth Parliament- Pakistan. These programs have not only helped her grow as an entrepreneur but also allowed her to network and collaborate with like-minded individuals.
